Thermostatic Mixing Valves
Increasing hot water temperatures to over 50°c at outlets is necessary to control legionella bacteria yet increases the risk of scalding. Thermostatic mixing valves will effectively avoid scalding but must be correctly selected, installed, regularly checked and maintained.
Tank Relining
The replacement of water storage tanks is not always a simple solution due to restricted access or cost. Relining using WRAS approved coatings can prolong the life of tanks and helps to maintain good water quality.
