Legionella Awareness

Designed for those with duties involved in implementing and maintaining legionella control measures and other activities such as plumbing and maintenance, this course will give each attendee the confidence to focus on achieving and maintaining compliance in their premises or estate. The course covers the following topic areas:

1. The origin of Legionnaires' disease & the legionella bacteria.

2. Causes and symptoms of the group of diseases known as Legionellosis.

3. Legislative requirements for legionella control.

4. Risk control measures and common mistakes.

This is a non-accredited course and will require the attendees to complete a short test on completion. Each attendee will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion. This course can be held at your premises if required to keep disruption to a minimum.
